Groups

Fellowship Group

The (Wednesday) Fellowship Group meets regularly on Wednesday morning from 10.30 am in the Session Room at Buchlyvie Church, for a bible reading, thoughts and prayer, followed by a cup of tea or coffee, a nibble and general chit chat. All are welcome. Please note:

1. Masks must be worn (except during refreshments)

2. There will be maximum 5 tables with maximum of 4 per table.

3. Refreshments will be limited to tea, coffee and wrapped biscuits. Track and trace will be in effect.

 

Monday Group

The next Monday group will be on Monday 1 November at 2 p.m. in the Buchlyvie Church Session Room. Bill Keeping will give a talk on "Journey through the Balkans". Initially 3 events are planned for the first Mondays in October, November and December. Please note:

1. Masks must be worn. (They can be removed when sat at the table during refreshments).

2. There will be a maximum of 5 tables of up to 4 people per table.

3. Refreshments will be limited to tea, coffee and wrapped biscuits. Track and trace will be in effect.

 

Church Guild

The Church Guild has disbanded. It has been replaced by the Monday Group.

 

Study Group

The Study Group meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Buchlyvie Church Session Room. This is a joint study, discussion and meditative group with Gartmore church. (The group plans to restart some time in the 4th quarter of 2021).

 

Youth Group

This is on hold. 

 

Worship Group

The Worship Group aims to promote innovative and traditional worship. The group has led a number of services in both churches and online. Together with additional members from neighbouring churches, the group runs the Messy Church. (See Messy Church menu option to the left for more details).

 

Working Groups

There are 5 working groups which oversee various aspects of the Churches:

  • Property and Finance
  • Worship
  • Mission
  • Pastoral Care
  • Eco Congregation

 

The groups welcome anyone who wishes to help in the work of the church.
